TAR 2011 - we did it!!

Yesterday it was the last day in the Transalpine Run - only 30KMs to cover and 1800 altitude meters. A steep climb up hill and a long downhill. Sun was burning, dust all over but hey, our legs felt OK and the finish line was waiting for us. After just a little bit more than 5 hours we crossed the line - very big smile on our faces and again our small dance to celebrate the finish. We got our medal and during the last pasta party we got our finishers shirt - we're so happy! Eight days of running through the Alps, indeed it is a bit insane..
