Countdown has begun - only 8 days left till the start of our dream: Transalpine Run 2011. Not much training these last weeks but a lot of things that have to be organised.
Tuesday we found our driver for the camper - almost the perfect driver, he still has to learn to do massages.. But hey, he knows the people behind Plan B (the organisation behind the TAR), knows a lot of participants and last but certainly not least: he ran the TAR himself! So tho be honest, we think he is the perfect driver..
Thursday we had a look at our potential camper that we want to rent. If we have to describe it in one word - HUGE! It is just the perfect camper; a big one, nice beds, garage for the bikes, shower cabin and all in perfect condition. And moreover, it turns out to be the camper from an acquaintance.
This week we also ordered our last materials (Skins compression tights, tubes) from GlobalSports. Next week we'll pick up some more sports food from PowerBar. Right at this moment our shirts are printed with our logo. Furthermore, we started our mailinglists, selling our stones and signed DVD's etc. Yes, we can still use some extra money for Pink Ribbon!
8 days to go - lot's to do but soooo looking forward to the start!! In Dutch we would say #ZININ!
